The Lone Survivor Foundation was established in February 2010 by Retired Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell; awarded the Navy Cross after his actions during Operation RED WINGS which he describes in the NY Times best-seller, Lone Survivor, the Eyewitness Account of Operation RED WINGS and SEAL Team 10. His experience serves as the catalyst for the formation of the Foundation and his vision to give back to those who serve.
The Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated professionals that are working together to fulfill the mission and vision of the Lone Survivor Foundation. Every member is fully committed to empowering and restoring hope for wounded warriors and their families and ensuring that hometown America reaches out to help their local service men and women in any way possible.
